Great seafood restaurants

Fair service and very good food.I took my Dad for dinner at La Coast on a Wednesday night while we were vacationing in Shediac. The atmosphere was nice if a little noisy, and there was live music - one performer with guitar and harmonica with a varied range of music mostly from the 70s and 80s.After we were seated it took a long time for our server to come... the hostess had to remind him. Dad ordered sweet potato fries with his meal but got the regular kind. Other than that the service was good and the food was great. We had fish and chips and the La Coast burger. Prices were reasonable. A very nice time and dinner for Dad and I.

My Husband and I brought our little minion with us and LOVED all the staff, the Food OMG the food no words but we cleared our plates and took our dessert to go!!!We will be back again, thanks for a wonderful upbeat evening out we also enjoyed the live music!!

1st time, had the seafood linguini, AMAZING!!

OMG! First time there . Live music . TastefulI had the blackened salmon and my other half had the chicken cordon blue. Food was great Service was good.so far my most favourite place in moncton and surrounding areas.

I had the lobster roll dinner. It was chunks of lobster claw meat wrapped in herb and butter flat bread. The bread was warm, soft, and chewy! The meat came in whole pieces which were satisfying to eat. You can substitute fries with garden salad so that's what I did.

Had a FANTASTIC dinner. Maple salmon with balsami rice and vegis and a seafood linguine(shrimp and scallops)in a spicy Asian sauce and vegis. Service was great in a very busy place, entertainment was wonderful. Highly recommend, you will enjoy your evening!

Delicious Lobster roll and some of the best fries I had on the east coast! Awesome restaurant with very friendly service. Would recommend to anybody

Service was exemplary, food was delicious, my special request was handled without a fuss. Menu is well-varied. Would definitely return.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having the scallops for an appetizer, with the seafood casserole and clam chowder for our mains. We were extremely satisfied with the meal. C'est magnifique!

Great service and amazing food. The “Burger La Coast” tastes great every time I visit the restaurant. The poutine is also really good, same for the lobster rolls. The desserts are all good, which, overall makes this place great to eat basically anytime during the day.

We were coming through town near the end of the season (early October) so many places were closed for the season. We looked around for a decent looking place and decided to give La Coast a try. We couldn't have been happier with our choice! The seafood chowder was incredible, my wife got the lobster roll, my son and I got spicy burgers. They were all delicious! Would definitely highly recommend La Coast!

Went for supper on New Years Eve. There was a Host's Table menu , and the main menu was also available. We sampled items from both, and all agreed that the food was great ! Nice atmosphere for NY Eve. We had another event to attend, so did not stay for the music and midnight activities. Friendly service, and although they could have satisfied us with the Host's Table offerings, they were very happy to allow selections from the main menu. My choice of chicken cordon blue was terrific!

Some friends and I came here in the summer for the first time and really enjoyed our burgers on the outdoor patio. Delicious! Friendly staff, too. We came back last weekend and still enjoyed the food. Great place. Definitely recommend.

They recently changed it up, for the better! More specialty beers on tap 😃 The lobster poutine is soooo awesome, a cult favorite.

Good service and friendly staff but food is not great and overpriced. Seafood dishes are okay but their Greek salad is a bed of prepackaged lettuce with nachos topping as veggies. It was horrible.

Each and every time we go to La Coast, we are so pleased! We have gone in all seasons, and the consistency is 100%! Staff is knowledgable and friendly! The food is the absolute BEST!!! Shediac’s hidden gems!! Make a point to visit, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Lobster roll was disappointing... Not even in a roll... Served in a flatbread and was skimpy on lobster. Lobster poutine was good, fish and chips were ok.

Worst service hands down. Waitress was ignorant and rude. If you don't want to work in the service industry then stay home. Waited forever for our meals as well. Horrible service won't be back.

Great food, lacking atmosphere.

Terribly overpriced for quality the of food (comparable to moxies). Had the burger, which was very good (~18$) and my wife had a chicken linguini, which tasted bland and mainly of creme. Very dissapointing for a +20$ plate. Ambiance was nice and music was good. We'll go elsewhere next time.

Food was great. Just enough spice in the spicy burger to give it a bite but still did not overwhelm the other flavours.Ceasar salad was the best I've had in a while.

We met friends for lunch and sat on the patio. Great attentive service and the food was great. I had the fish and chips and my wife nachos with chicken. Nice portion of fish with a crisp panko crust. Fries were handcut and very nice. The nachos were excellent and are her favorite since moving to Moncton. Prices are reasonable and a few local beers made it all enjoyable. We will be back!

Great little spot. The price is a little high so don't come here if your on a budget. The food was very good and local! They also had local beer that was pretty good. We stayed until past closing and was not rushed at all.

It was ok, could be better value for the dollar and service was slow.

We stopped here on our way to PEI for lunch. I literally had the BEST burger and cesar salad I've ever had in my entire life. They're not lying when they say they have the best burger in town! Their homemade cesar and burger sauces were delicious and the burger was cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable as well! Our server overheard us talking about the Moosehead Brewery and wondering if there was still a Brewery tour going on. He looked up the information for us without us knowing and came over to tell us about it :) so sweet! He was so friendly, gave us quick service, and made the experience a great one.Cheers to our servers and the chef! We will miss this place!

Was excited to eat here with my wife but waited over an hour for food and then when we said we had to go they told us it was coming right out. Waited another 10 min and still did not get food. Left without eating:(

Great place. Great food right downtown Shediac. Excellent service and good selection of beers. Close to campgrounds and hotels so makes for an easy walk to and from.

Mediocre food. Very slow service! 50 minutes from sitting to getting food. No drink order taken. Burgers and sandwiches.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite us being the only guests at fhe time we were still treated to attentive and friendly service. Our hostess even came to chat about the day and events coming up in the town. Wonderful evening.

I regret forgetting to take a photo of the amazing meal that I enjoyed at this place. The service was great and if ever in this area again, I am definitely making this a planned stop.
